Pescateria Building
Located in the emblematic Plaza Pescateria, in the heart of Palma’s historic centre, this project involved the comprehensive rehabilitation of a building that had been abandoned for more than 20 years, with the aim of preserving its architectural identity while adapting it to current needs.
The intervention focused on the structural consolidation of the building and the rehabilitation of the three homes located on the upper floors, respecting the character and original elements of Palma’s historic architecture.
Particular attention was given to the restoration of the façade and roof, using traditional techniques and materials, together with finishes that complement the tones of the surrounding area, bringing light and character back to this important square.
The result is an intervention that combines rehabilitation and conservation, restoring the building’s character and extending its lifespan while enhancing the quality and comfort of the surrounding square.
